Oatmeal Waffles
These Oatmeal Waffles are so delicious, hearty and will keep your energy soaring for hours, just like regular oatmeal does.  The whole grains in them keeps your blood sugar stable and they are are great for your heart and your waist!  Yay Breakfast!! (or snack or lunch or …whatever)

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Let stand a few minutes to thicken. It should be easily pourable.
  2. Pour 1/3 of the mixture into a heated, oil-sprayed waffle iron. Cook for 10 minutes without lifting the lid.
  3. After 10 minutes lift the lid and check the waffle. If the edges are still wet cook longer.
Recipe Notes

PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes the edges are still a little uncooked.  It is best to lower the temp on the waffle iron and let them cook a little longer. It can take a little practice to get the timing right for your specific waffle iron but once you do, these are the BEST.

If you want to naughty these up, top with fresh berries, pure maple syrup and Cashew Cream.

Experiment with vanilla powder or extract, cinnamon, pumpkin spice or anything your mind can think of.  Just keep things clean and whole food, plant based.
