  1. Stir cream of rice, maple syrup and milk together in a medium sized pan. At medium heat bring milk to a
  2. On medium heat, stirring constantly, bring milk, syrup and cream of rice to a low rolling boil. Stir for 30 seconds being sure to break apart any lumps that start to form. At 30 seconds turn the heat off, cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 1 minute.
  3. After 1 minute stir and add additional milk to desired thickness.
  4. Top with strawberries and additional maple syrup to taste. ENJOY!
Recipe Notes

This recipe requires more liquid than the  instructions on the package of cream of rice calls for so adjust to your desired consistency.  Keep in mind that this cereal thickens as it cools.  I do not add salt and never add vegan butter, they are not needed.
