  • 1 small cucumber
  • Red wine vinegar
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Celery salt
  • Dried dill weed
  • Sugar
  • Small piece of Jalapeño pepper
  • Additional salt to taste

    I make these Quick Homemade Pickles an hour or two before I need them.  You can store them in the fridge for a couple of days.  These are great added to most sandwich’s or even just as a snack.

    The recipe is listed below this video  that shows how I made them to go along side my Mushroom Bacon Veggie Sandwich.

    *Please note* as I mention in the video these were made on the fly and the ingredients are approximate.  Adjust the spices to your own tastes.

    Quick Homemade Pickles

    1 small cucumber sliced
    A few splashes of red wine vinegar
    A few splashes of apple cider vinegar
    Dash or two of celery salt
    Pinch of dried dill weed
    Pinch or two of sugar
    Small piece of Jalapeño pepper (adds heat and the more you use the hotter it is)
    Additional salt to taste

    Slice cucumber and place into a bowl or a rounded plate.

    Add the remaining ingredients to your Magic Bullet or high speed blender and blend well.  Pour sauce over the sliced cucumber to cover them.

    Let the pickles marinate until you are ready to eat them.  Taste and adjust the seasonings to your personal taste.  ENJOY!
